Incorporated Technology Lessons
In this lesson we were to work on incorporating technology into a lesson based on the subject we are going to teach. I chose to have my students apply their technology skills by going on to the internet and finding an online gallery visit. They are to find the gallery online and compare and contrast 3 works of art by 3 different artists and turn in a hard copy of their findings.
In this lesson we were to create an instructional video that students could watch and learn from. In this video we instructed others on how to be a responsible pet owner. We created a lesson plan to go with the video on how students could incorporate being a responsible pet owner as well.
In this lesson the students are to follow the simple directions given by me to go onto a website. They should follow the rest of the directions given on the website to create their own 3D business design. They are only given the simple directions from me to go on to the website, the rest they are to do on their own based on the directions on the website.
Vincent Van Gogh SmartBoard
In this lesson the students get to interact with the SmartBoard. They get the chance to get up and add their own texture to different images based on the artist Vincent Van Gogh. We introduce texture and introduce a related artist Van Gogh while the students interact with adding their own texture to drawings.
In this lesson we were to teach it from a distance. We created a PowerPoint on shading and shading techniques. We introduced these techniques to the students from a distance and then using the document camera we had the students practice those techniques. The students then showed their practice work back to us using the document camera. This lesson would be the introduction to a project where the students only use shading techniques.
